It actually went fairly well. We went straight to "panties" (Tinkerbell, Minnie Mouse and Dora). She did great! Only a couple accidents the first day and a week of finding creative ways to get her to the potty. She often would put up a fight when it was time to go potty...so a sticker chart..mini marshmellow and tinkerbell fruit snack treats for successful trips to the potty seemed to work well. We also found fun ways to get to the potty..skipping, walking backwards, hopping like a frog..etc and lots of singing, coloring and stories to get her to stay on the potty. Our other issue was getting Kate to poop on the potty. She was great off the bat with peeing, but she was terrified of pooping on the potty. So she spent about a week doing her number 2 in a diaper and dumping the "poopies" in the potty. I didn't want her to be scared of pooping or start holding it in..so I just figured we would do it this way until she felt comfortable going in the potty. After about a week...she was ready to be a big girl..and has been pooping in the potty ever since!
My Kate is such a big girl! I can't believe she is already potty trained! I am sooo proud of you Kate. You did such a great job! I love you!!
