Happy Halloween!

Halloween is so much fun once you have children! They are just so darn cute in their little costumes! We took Kate around our neighborhood trick-or-treating.....more for the novelty of it all....Kate had no idea what was going on..but she loved it! Kate got to stay up way past her bedtime as we hauled her around to see family and friends. I think next year....we'll probably just go trick-or-treat and then stay home! We also had a fun Halloween party at our friends house on Saturday night. Even though it was the day after Halloween...we all dressed up and had a blast. Hope everyone had a great Halloween....can't wait for next year!!

Our little Ladybug

So I was going to wait until Halloween to post these pics of Kate in her Halloween costume....but I couldn't wait any longer. I will probably post the rest of the pics tomorrow. Is she a cute Ladybug or what!!! She has just started dancing in the last couple of weeks...so when we took her to get some pics, there was halloween music playing overhead...and Kate kept getting a big grin and breaking into a little booty bop ( as I call it). This is such a fun age. I can't wait to take her trick-or-treating tomorrow. I know she won't know whats going on...but mommys going to enjoy her goodies....

Park swings and a TUTU

Eric and I took Kate to the park on Sunday to enjoy the beautiful sunny day. Mommy had a mission in mind though... I bought Kate a pink tutu back in May and was planning to get some pictures of her in it this summer. Well...summer flew by..and before I knew it...it was the end of September. So I was determined to get some pics of her in it before it got cold outside. It was a perfect day for pictures....warm and sunny. We went in the late afternoon....but we were still sweating. Eric was my trusty assistant..thanks hon! He didn't complain once. He was even taking pictures of me taking pictures...haha. Im sure we were quite the sight. Kate loved running down the hills with Daddy. After the photo session...we broke out the stroller for a nice sunday stroll around the park. What a wonderful life!!! I just love, love, love my hubby and baby! After our walk, we stopped at the playground to put Kate in the swing (the full seat swing for babies). She wasn't quite sure what to think. She would smile, then look a little hesitant....then another smile. Its so fun to see her react to new experiences. Yes..motherhood is truely amazing!
