Our 3rd Anniversary

We recently celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary! Its hard to believe 3 years have come and gone....but it also feels like we have always been together. We were able to get away for a night and enjoyed our time alone....although we did miss Kate like crazy. It was her first night away from us. Thanks mom for watching her! These past 3 years have been amazing...I find myself more in love everyday and happier than I ever though possible! I am so lucky to have such a loving, patient and wonderful husband! Eric-I love you, I love you, I love you!!! I would marry you all over again! Here's to 3 incredible years..and many more!

Kate's first camping trip

We took Kate camping for the first time last Saturday. Lets just say it was an experience. On our way up the canyon I was telling Eric how my parents took me camping when I was a baby and I wouldn't sleep unless I was on my moms chest......haha I should have known I was in for a pay back. Kate went to sleep easily in the pack'n'play...so we thought it would be smooth sailing the rest of the night. WRONG!! Kate woke up about 11pm crying..which turned into a 30min meltdown. It was probably the combination of being in a new place and those two pesky little teeth that are just breaking through. As Eric's trying to sooth Kate...I'm frantically looking through our bags for the tylenol (which I had set out earlier in the day in anticipation of night time teething issues)....but do you think I actually packed it...NOPE. I was on the verge of calling it quits and telling Eric that Kate and I would pick him up in the morning....but I decided to try my moms method first. So Kate and I snuggled up in my sleeping bag...and she was finally off to dreamland. So needless to say, I didn't get much sleep....and woke up with a very kinked neck and stiff arm. Kate woke up at least every hour...so in the morning, Eric and I were sleep deprived and cold...but we had offically made it though our first night camping with Kate! All I can say is THANKS mom....your story of my first camping trip has a whole new meaning!! Even though it was a rough night...we had fun and I'm sure as our family grows..camping will only become more adventurous. Which brings back another camping memory from my youth....after a night full of campfires, fun, spagetti O's and hoho's...my friends stomach wasn't too happy with all the camping goodies she had consumed. We woke in the middle of the night to my friend throwing up spagetti O's all over the tent. Again..I have to say thank you mom...and just hope thats one experience I don't have coming...

Just wanted to post some recent video clips. Kate is Miss personality these days! She is great entertainment. She has been crawling all over and climbing up on EVERYTHING! These days she enjoys following mommy around, getting into magazines, annoying Dante (our cat...he's not entertained by the fact that Kate can follow him) and of coarse just getting into everything she's not suppose to.

4th of July

So..Im a little slow posting these pictures. We took Kate to her first parade on the 4th. She loved it! There was just so much to look at. All the kids had fun and ended up with loads of candy. We had a BBQ that night with some friends but by the time it was dark enough for fireworks...Kate was sleeping away.....until the fireworks started whistling and screeching and woke her up! All and all a great day to celebrate our nation. We are so thankful for the wonderful freedom we are blessed with!!
