Catching up is hard to do...

Life, mothering a 2 yr old and pregnancy has left me little time to attend to my blog. So, sadly enough...my blog has been ignored and severly neglected. Since Im still not feeling particularly wordy tonight....here is a picture recap of our last month.

4 Generation pic with my sweet grandma while she was visiting

Enjoying the sun and beautiful spring flowers.....it was windy that day (as you can tell from the pics)

Totally cheesy pic...but it is the only pic i have taken showing off my baby bump so far....so i had to post it.

Kate and Grandpa..kickin back in the rockers

Easter egg hunt at a "spring party" at grandma and grandmas. Since a lot of Erics siblings were out of town over easter...our family get together was postponed a little.

Inspecting her loot

Day at the zoo with mommy and daddy

We can't make a trip to the zoo without a ride on the merry-go-round. It is Kate's FAVORITE!!!
Our zoo checklist always entails:
stop to see..
baby elephant Zuri
the skunky monkeys (the black and white ones that look like skunks)
the tigers
sitting on the bronze tiger statue
and..
the merry-go- round
everything else is nice...but the checklist above is required by miss Kate for a successful trip to the zoo

CaNdYLaNd with daddy and cousins

Trip to the aquarium to see the new PENGUINS! They were so much fun to watch! I had no idea they could swim so fast!

Race for the Cure 2010!! Our annual tradition. This year Eric and Bob joined us. I absolutely love this tradition with my mom. This year was extra special...we celebrated my mom's 5 yr cancer free milestotne!!! Yeah MOM! I love you so much. You are beautiful and strong. You are an amazing woman, mother, friend and grandma! You are my inspiration. I am so thankful and pround that you are here celebrating with us today.....and for years and years to come!

Taking a break from the stroller and enjoying her new vantage point

Racing for the cure with Nanny

Crossing the finish line for the 5K.. Not bad for being 6 months pregnant! haha..ok..5K sounds much more impressive than saying I walked 3 miles..

Look at all those survivors...young and old. I love seeing all these strong, beautiful women!!!

Meeting up with Danielle and her mother-in-law after the race

Dancing with Caden...her first little crush. They are so cute together.

At Kali's preschool graduation.

That's all folks. I'll try to not neglect my blog so much...but you know how it goes. So much to do..and so little time in the day.
